Interstate highways were closed for passenger transport from states with a high incidence of contagion through community transmission. Also, the only access routes to regions such as Ilha Grande, for example, are already closed.
If you have a tour booked, check with the company that offers the service to find out how to proceed in this situation.
It’s worth mentioning that the day of suspension of services may vary and new dates may be informed. Look for information on the official pages of the places you would like to visit.
IMPORTANT: OTHER CITY SERVICES
It was established by the decree that bars, restaurants, snack bars, and similar activities decrease their capacity by 30%. However, the delivery service for orders and pick-up on-site can be maintained.
In hotel and inn chains, the foodservice must exclusively serve guests.
SPORTS AND SHOPPING CENTERS
Due to the high risk of contagion, the services of gyms, sports centers, and fitness centers were closed. Shopping centers are also not operating.
PLACES OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
It was also recommended to the population not visiting beaches, rivers, lakes, and public pools. These places provide agglomeration, where contact between people cannot be avoided, which creates a high risk of contagion.
This decree also informs that only supermarkets, pharmacies and health services can operate normally. Including those that operate within large shopping centers.
The best way to protect yourself from the coronavirus is to reinforce hygiene habits and avoid direct contact with people, after all, you don’t know who is infected with the virus or not.
If you have doubts about what to do and how to protect yourself, seek information disclosed by health agencies and the city. We must be careful not to pass on wrong information, this can have serious consequences.
